In the dead of winter, I decided to shoot a short film about a young woman who returns to pack up her childhood home only to be confronted by a malevolent strand of kudzu. The film builds on some of the same themes I worked with in Teardown, though less diaristic and more narrative.
Tentatively called Kudzu, this film was my first real taste of narrative work. I directed and DP’ed with an extremely talented crew. Here are some shots generously provided by Laura Conway and David Tabor.
